Yes, weed is legal in Maryland for medical use. In 2013, the Maryland General Assembly passed a law allowing for the use of medical cannabis for certain medical conditions. Patients can possess up to 120 grams of marijuana, and they can consume it only in private property. However, recreational use of marijuana remains illegal in Maryland and possession of small amounts can result in criminal charges.

Marijuana use is exclusively permitted on private premises in Maryland. It's against the law to use marijuana while operating a vehicle or to smoke it on public land.
